MOLANDS A strange week with the pools frozen in the morning and the ice clearing through the day but the fishing has improved on Molands as the week went on.The top tactic has been pellet feeder with hard pellet or meat with mainly f1s to 3lb responding to this with a few carp to 10lb as bonus fish.Pole with pellet or maggot is producing mixed nets of f1s,skimmers,roach & the odd tench.Sport should further improve with the stocking of 3000 f1s last week.Top pegs are 2,12-19,29-31,43-48 &52-60
GEARYS Very quiet with just a few pleasure anglers fishing this week and they caught nets of skimmers and roach on pole and caster or a groundbait feeder with caster or maggot on the hook. The deeper water along the high bank from pegs 1-12 has been the best area.
LITTLE GEARYS Plenty of F1s showing with pellet feeder fished tight to the island or down the shelf with banded 4or 6mm pellet, polony or punched bread the top baits. The pole is producing plenty of bites but the small skimmers can be a nuisance and heavier feeding seems to bring on the F1s.1500 f1s were stocked last week.Top pegs are 6-13,21 &27-29
GRATUITIES Fished a lot harder this week with the carp switching off.the better catches this week were made up of roach and skimmers with the odd bonus carp or tench with pole fished caster the best approach.
WILLOW The most consistent pool this week boosted by the stocking of 500 f1s.carp have been caught fishing corn or pellet down the margins with pegs 2,3 and 7 producing fish to 7lb.pegs
Pegs 5&6 are going well on a small method or pellet feeder fished to the island with carp,f1s and tench coming to this.FORTHCOMING MATCHES
