Andy fished the pole on two lines one with maggot at 13m and the other with pellet at 11m, catching roach and perch – 12oz on the maggot line and
6 skimmers – 2lb and one lonesome 3lb carp on the pellet weighing in exactly 30lb, the catch of the day went to second placed Pete Hodgetts drawn at
Peg 9 he fished the wagler and maggot off the bottom for over 80 roach – 1lb and a fantastic 24lb 14oz.

A delayed start for breaking ice and then a slow start because of the disturbance is was two hours before the winner Fred had a bite,
Fishing the pole and pinkie at 9m he had 7lb 4oz of small roach, perch and ide.
