          like the QM hook in the loop idea on the open feeder and blog shows it worked first time.

            I’m not totally sure why it works, and when you look at it it probobly shouldn’t – but it does! QM1s are so sharp and when a fish is hooked they never seem to come off so I was keen to use one – knotless knotting and palomar knots didn’t look quite right, so I’m going to stick with the hook in the loop for a while!

              I might give the QM1 in a loop idea another go at Willow Park on Saturday – let’s hope the rain holds off!
