  I have seen lots of recommendations for this line for the feeder but getting hold of the bulk spools in 8lb BS seems to be more or less impossible now, although the far less good value for money 150M spools seem to be available. I have a bulk spool of 8lb on order from Fosters who phoned me to say they were expecting to get some soon but I am wondering if Diawa have phased it out in favour of making alot more money out of the 150M spools.

  How far can you cast, prob not 150 m so use backing and then your fine with 150 m spools

  Can’t remember the last time I was casting 150M :rolleyes: but when I have got 2 reels to fill that both take between 150 – 200 metres of line I can’t be bothered with using backing and the bulk spools were unusually good value until a number of the mags started recommending it.

  I think you will find they are 300 mtr spools,not 150mtr??

  Got the line in 5lb and 6lb.Seems a good price to me @5.99 per 300 mtr spool.

  why sell 8lb bulk spools with 2,320mts for £14.99 when you can get £5.99 for 300mt 😀 😀 😀

  Yes I agree – come up with a new product and decide on a reasonable profit margin that also happens to be really good value, get a few good reviews and then change the price from 0.64p per metre to 2p per metre. I am not saying that £5.99 is unreasonable for 300M of line but it does seem a big increase.

  Since my last post Fosters have phoned me to say Daiwa will not have the bulk spools till June so I have bought 3 of the 300M spools.
