        What are they exactly they seem common place on carps mouths at lots of venues these days, do carp grub around in the mud and pick them up or is it because the fish are less active ? Regards Anthony

          all the pike were catching at the moment are covered in em ant wonder if its something with the time of year cant remember seeing many on them in the warmer weather :confused:

            A guy I work with, who is an authority on everything reckons their some sort of parasite connected with fresh water mussels, and they don’t do any long lasting harm to the fish. Fisherman’s Blues would be able to give a definite explanation.
