well if im not wrong I thought this website was for fishing not a bookies
you’re not totally wrong, this site is for people who go fishing. the majority of users are not blinkered and have interests other than fishing. if this is outside your interest please feel free to read, even join in or pass on by.
just for the record i am not or ever have been a bookie or a gambler, i like horse racing and when its on telly i put a few schillings on.p.s. should this site be restricted to just fishing it may die a death of boredom. i’ve been a member of this site since june 2008 (original name: tunnel topper) and would hate to see it close down. keep smiling and carry on!

TF_DodgeSorry guys , my internet time is very limited these days.

2.30 Dynaste
3.05 Sprinter Sacre
4.15 At Fishers CrossCue card could easily give Sprinter Sacre its toughest race yet.

TF_caster robParticipantL’unique had obviously been readied for the race but still did it nicely.
First Lieutenant’s team must have been wishing they’d gone for the Gold Cup, I think he’d have been really close.
Only value in handicaps tomorrow, although there’s always the chance one or two “good things” have left their form in a hard race at Cheltenham.
My Tent Or Yours
Sea of Thunder – as stated above, waited for better ground
Sprinter Sacre
Gullible Gordon
Road To Riches
Minella Forfitness
The Pirate’s Queen
Nice to see the regulars back!
NB Just to add that it’s pathetic that the BBC (now they’ve lost the TV rights) and the other usual suspects are making a big fuss about Battlefront dying of a heart attack after being pulled up.
Perhaps it was going bald? -

TF_KatarinoI thought same about BBC CR. There is such a lack of knowledge about the keeping horses in general, didn’t see them producing injury stats for showjumpers and 3 day eventers at Greenwich during Olympics.
My mate lost his best horse in a freak accident on the gallops, she carted the rider, ran through a wooden railed fence and she got spiked on an upright. Complete freak but they are delicate creatures, another aquaintance lost one just through getting cast in box and lashing out. It happens, deal with it.

TF_KatarinoI don’t think FL would have beaten Bobs Worth CR, watched the race a few times and he’s a Silver Buck, just does enough (won going away). Hell of a record now at Cheltenham. The Irish crop are good but they have a habit of finishing together in a heap and you know what that means……………………………..

TF_caster robParticipantYou’re probably right, although I didn’t say “win” just “close”.
Re; Silver Buck
I was there when he beat Bregawn following a superb display of jumping fence-to-fence under Rabbit and kept on finding enough up the hill.
Tragically, his was another none-racing related death. He was so highly-strung that one day he just took-off and smashed himself into a wall in Dickinsons yard. I’m sure the animal-libbers have an answer to this sort of event but I’m damn sure I don’t. -

TF_KatarinoBradley……………………….. he f**king knew as well and still did it. Mrs. D cottoned on about him in the end. 😉

TF_caster robParticipantAbsolute artist in the saddle though Brad.
Dermot Browne was worse IMO.
Thank goodness it’s “ladies” day today, which should hopefully be a bit easier on the eye than yesterday’s
“lady wrestler and rugby forwards” day:
It’s not right allowing the horses to become upset by sights such as those.

TF_KatarinoThey do pick and choose with the pics though, I’ve been to Aintree and there are hordes of absolutely stunning women. York and Chester are also good.

TF_KatarinoSprinter Sacre: Discuss 😮 😮 😮 Is anything ever going to get him off the bit?…………

TF_caster robParticipantJust hacked around against the best over the distance – stunning.
Makes you wonder over what distances he can be effective.
No substitute for cruising speed. -

TF_DodgeHave to agree with comments about the Beebs reporting of this years meeting and todays Grand National as being totally pathetic and slanted obviously due to them losing the TV rights to the now excellent channel 4 production. I was fuming last night with there agenda after little josh got fateley injured …… FFS RACE HORSES GET KILLED NEARLY EVERY DAY ….. wankers !
Anyway …….. all positive today 😉 😎 🙂 weather wise it is the mildest day in fucking ages up here ……. its glorious 😮
Fabulous days racing ahead …… be great to see Grands Crus come back to his best form after recent setbacks , massive massive story if Seabass wins the National and everything is back in gutsy , classy Overturns favour.
1.45 Dodging Bullets
2.15 Overturn
2.50 Grands Crus
3.25 Loch Ba (should win if the jockey doesnt jump off like at cheltenham  )
4.15 Seabass
5.10 Cry Of Freedom
5.45 Vago CollongesEnjoy today , it promises to be spectactular ! 😎

Tesco are right p*$$*D off though, they put all their money on ” beeches” for a carnage, now they have to use proper meat for their beefburgers 😉

TF_KatarinoWinner was actually backable if you’d looked hard enough. Usually comes to best in spring, running off a 6lb lower mark than when beaten in last year’s Scottish National by the course specialist Merigo. Lesson learnt, look properly at everything in race.
