I’m sure someone must know which size Rivets Rive use in D36 fittings as I’m about to convert some arm’s etc!!!!,

Hi hope you are well I use 4mm medium length rivets and they
          suit most applications

As Toby stated above, 4mm dia, 10mm length fits the attachments.
Most DIY places sell silver rivets, however only place I could find some black rivets was eBay.

Chris, you can buy most of the Preston attachments, drill out the existing rivet and fit a new Rive D36 knuckle, and then re-rivet it back on using a 4mm dia, 10mm long rivet.

Fosters and Nathans of Derby both sell the knuckles (£5ea), which are available to accept either the square or octagonal attachments. The octagonal attachment can be bored out with a 12mm drill bit to make it round, this will then be a tight snug fit for the round Preston attachments. But most people buy the D36 knuckle with the square attachment which is slightly easier to fit but not as tight.

Hope this is of some help.

Personally I don’t see the point of shelling out over a grand on buying a D36 then skimping on the extras. This week I will be mostly converting D25 to D36. Think of it as only money so easy come easy go,

we are not skimping as you put it we are using our heads
we have the rolls Royce of box’s but refuse to buy over priced attachments
it would seem that most attachments are like for like so what difference does it make piperlot

                    Totally agree Chris

Matrix gear is spot on just change the knuckle and you have saved a packet – Wilkinsons do a handy pot rivet gun great for this sort of thing

My post was tongue in cheek. Not having a go at anyone,
