Can anyone recommend one? Never been a big fan of them but needs must! Used to own some Preston ones along time ago,

Maver/daiwa ones (clearly the same) look half decent but not seen one close up!

        All opinions welcome

        Cheers

Are they worth the money? Don’t mind spending it if they are going to last..

              Hello broombroom 🙂
You started fishing again my old mate?
milo prince rollers are very good as they are heavy and wont blow over but if it busts and my one has its hard getting spare parts too fix!!

I always told people to stay away from V rollers as they are a major cause of broken sections but since buying a milo prince they are the ultimate V roller. They are made from stainless steel and have a small W at the bottom of the V so you can double ship, the maximum height exceeds the maver XL rollers. At the bottom of the stainless rods its threaded to take either an auger type attachment for soft ground and believe me when this has been screwed into the ground there is no way the roller can blow over, if you are on firm ground then there is an attachment that can be screwed into the rod to allow you to suspend a bucket of water, tie it to your holdall or carryall, the legs of the tripod will lay totally flat just like a star fish. Comes in a quality bag.
The only draw back is its quite heavy but then its made from stainless steel not monkey metal from China.

Yes Simon, I’m back lol, had a major change of career and took a little time out but been getting back into it slowly the last 6 months, got a win at packington (little gearys) on weds with 102.9 of F1’s which was nice. Could of done with a few more fishing it but a wins a win 🙂

Milo prince it is then! Used the daiwa/boss rollers for years but its the height limitation that has got me searching!

I was told to press the little catches before attempting to splay the legs and similarly press them again to fold the legs away as not doing so would cause the ratchet mechanism to wear? if that makes sense.
