A 9lb carp proved the difference in the latest open match fished on the Worcester-Birmingham Canal at Perdiswell in which Good Intent’s Gary Owen added a few roach on caster for a winning 12-13-4 from peg 70. Lee Davis produced the best silver fish weight of the day, getting his head down at 11 metres on the pole with a squatt approach for 8-11-11 for second spot.
