        Looking for a margin pole which will only see light twice a year.only looking to spend around £120.has anybody own the drennan 7.how does it compare to the beast master? I hear the top kits are very short on the beast master which is putting me off

          Don’t be put off by anything on the beastmaster, it is quite simply the strongest & best margin pole on the market (imo)! I have the original model & is at least 10 years old. I have caught hundreds of big fish on this pole, including Drayton monsters, & munters from Gold Valley’s Syndicate Lake! No breakages no problems.

            I agree with spotter1707, this is THE margin pole you need, you will never break it while fishing (unless you stand on it), had mine a good few years now and although not used week in week out its had some very good workouts with no problems ever, you won’t go far wrong with one of these.

              ive got a preston the edge 9mt margin pole in the for sale section excellent condition not much use c/w 1 extra topkit
