Buyer Definitely Beware. The Bargain is not what it seems and I feel mugged and annoyed with myself for even thinking of buying from them.

On the upside, I have got a complete refund promised and a freepost address label so that I don’t incur postage charges. I do need to get a certificate of posting and so long as that’s free too I’m just about sorted.

I pointed out that the net pictured on their websites, ebay,Amazon and their own is not the one supplied and did send them pics to prove it so they had no argument and went straight for the refund offer.

Cheap sometimes does mean cheerful but not totally in this case. If the nets had turned up as expected there would have been no complaints. The nylon carp sacking nets may not look fashionable and be logo appealing but they do seem to last better imho.

Redarmy, that’s true at Barston. 🙁

The nets have been returned, and yes they were Waterline who must’ve done the substitution

I also fell into that trap.I ordered 2 fishery approved carp nets. They looked good quality from the picture and they were £15 each. When they arrived, well, absolute crap and not fishery approved.I sent them back and got a full refund.Iam currently looking for a couple of carp nets 3 or 3.5m.The only good value nets in the last few months were the fox ones at climax tackle but the went out of stock very quickly and i missed out.Nets seem to fall into 3 groups 1 cheap crap 2 average and overpriced 3 good quality but hyper expensive.Come back rugby tackle and their genuine half price flog off.

Got a full refund on the nets, I’m guessing that they will have had many of them returned and will end up with excess stock.

I’m looking for the Dinsmore, keenets, nylon carp sack type if the oakwoods are the same material I’ll go with those. Cheers.
