Monday and Wed produced yet more ton ups some good quality size fish being caught silvers post spawning hungery, and carp feeding up to finish spawning.
Wed carp started to spawn at 5am then the wind changed direction at 12 noon and carp switched of spawning as the cold north wind started dropping water temperature, need another hot spell to get water temperature up for carp to finish spawning.
All lakes doing well with high catch rates
Chris Dodds from Blyth on Lookout peg 14 had a 3lb 2oz perch on triple maggot, Alan Moore had two 10lb bream on paste and chopped worm on Bowes, and Bassetts producing some good carp to 4lb,
