TF_snowyflyboyHi any one out there using a matrix super box ? How do you rate them ? How do they compare to the pain space stations ?

TF_sharkI have had one for a couple of months now and really like it.
Only negatives i have is that i had to add two spacer trays to get it to the right height for me.
Also its pretty heavy when full. -

TF_mart4666Ive got one. Had a rive st36 before and preston xs2 b4 that. All these boxes have to be height adjusted with xtra trays. The xs is the heaviest of the 3.
The only downside with the matrix for me is the seat could be more comfy if it were a gel seat. Other than that its better than preston or rive…..YES RIVE!!!! lol -

TF_Terrence22Cheapest price I have seen for them is £379.00 I seriously doubt there is anything better on the market for that kind of money?

TF_wonderwozI’ve owned one for the past 6 months, having owned just about every box on the market apart from a rive I can say its probably in my opinion the best of the lot. At a third of the price of a d36 you can’t go wrong. As for the height issue, I’m 6ft and with an extra 25mm tray its perfect for me.
Build quality is very good, as are the accessories for it. Trays etc.
hope this helps. -

TF_gaz rhad one for about 10 months good box , but the footprint was ,a bit big, struggle to get in the car, the footplate also could be a pain to slide in and out when it was dirty, overall tho a good box.

TF_waveydavey21Terrence22,
Where can you get one for £379?
That is the cheapest price I have seen by far.
Thanks.

TF_waveydavey21Many thanks.
Guys at 16 stone I am concerned about one post on another site which suggested probs with the top draw sticking due to the weight of a 13 stone angler on the box.
Is this a common problem?
Thanks.

TF_macca63Only issue with the Matrix/Fox boxes are the seats – give it about a year before the covering starts to split had my MSB for two years now and there is now more gaffer tape than plastic, some of my mates are now on their third seat however cant see the point in paying £80 ish for a replacement for the same thing to happen again and again. Thought when they changed and rebranded as Matrix they would have changed them – even emailed Matrix with some constructive feedback however never had the courtesy of a reply – even Preston got it right wit the gel seat.
