A great day with Des

  Myself and my brother had a great day on the river Severn with Des Taylor yesterday. Des has started running trips in canoes. Fishing many places that people cannot get too. We started at 11am and didn’t get off the water until after 8pm.
  Des’s knowledge of the stretch and watercraft are second to none. A very worthwhile trip. We had a great time and learnt so much.

  What stretches did you fish and what did you catch?

  We fished from Arley to Bewdley. Stopping at Dowell’s, Trolls and Jason’s place. Stopped another couple of places that I do not know the name of (if they have names).
  
  We had 5 Barbel between us. Lost a few though. The fishing was tough. But enjoyable.

  Yeh, cheers for that. I know those places you mention.
  The barbel are proving tough at the moment upstream at Hampton/Alveley as well.
  Presumably you took them on pellets?
