Angel of the North Fishery, New Lake Record On Bowes

One of the most productive fishing catches ever this week on all lakes, record match weight on Bowes and Lookout by John Foster, with fish feeding up very well and to get good catch rates lots of feed needs to be put in.

Wednesday match was won by John Foster who was actually 1lb off 200lb but went over on two nets so only weighed in at 193lb 1oz. This was followed by two further ton ups in 2nd and 3rd place.

Sat produced another ton up of 149lb 3oz by Ray Laing. And Sunday a new lake record for Lookout with 168lb 11oz by John Foster

Jimmy Hagan fishing Bowes caught 56 carp all over 4lb best was 12lb 2oz fishing pellet and paste,

Cracking ide also coming out and bream over double figures, Lookout peg 33 and 39 has produced high numbers of crucian carp up in the water, pegs 17 to 23 have produced high numbers of rudd and roach,
