        REPORT

MOLANDS The most consistent pool on the venue at the moment with F1’s, skimmers, crucian carp showing on most areas. Pole fished banded hard pellet over micros is working best for the F1’s with worm and caster a good alternative. The carp are coming to the bomb and 8mm pellet fished ¾s way across to the island. Best pegs are 1 – 4,
        10 – 15, 27 – 31, 41 – 46 and 56 – 60.

GEARYS This pool has been very patchy, particularly for the carp which have fed best during the later stages in matches, coming to corn or dead red maggots fished down the inside margin over ground bait. The skimmers have offered the most consistent sport on Gearys with fish to 3lb coming to pole fished pellet or chopped worm and caster. The high bank is the best area from pegs 6 – 13.

LITTLE GEARYS A more frugal approach has been required on Little Gearys with small baits such as caster, dead reds or 4mm expanders fished over small amounts of ground bait or micro pellet. F1’s and skimmers provided the main action but a few carp were caught to 3lb as well. Best pegs have been 5 – 9, 13, 19 – 21 and 27 – 30.

GRATUITIES The corner pegs have been in good form this week with carp showing to the pellet feeder fished to the island or pole down the edge with meat, corn and caster all catching well. Also the pole fished at 8 – 12 metres is working for crucians and skimmers with expander pellet doing best.

WILLOW The back bank from pegs 10 – 13 has been the best area with carp to double figures, F1’s and skimmers showing to the long pole fished against the island with pellet or worm on the hook. Pellet feeder working on the lower pegs with 5 and 6 producing some mixed nets of carp and F1’s to expander pellet.

ANNIVERSARIES Maggot, caster or small expanders are giving plenty of bites from small carp, F1’s, skimmers and crucians with the wider pegs fishing best into the open water.
