        A small digital weighing scale that fits between the landing net head and handle (waterproof) zeroed to the wet landing net just before you tip the fish into the keepnet push a button and it weighs the fish and adds up the weight so that you know how much is in the net simple what do you think

          Suggested it a few weeks back for Fishomania final.Theoretically at least all weights would be live. Only indicative though as fish would still have to be verified.
          Outside Fisho I cant see any such device having mass appeal, extra nets are much cheaper to ensure you dont breach net weight limits.
          I cant see any such device being cheap either as water and all things electric do not mix well.

                If it worked every time and was strong so as not to reduce the performance of your net handle you would sell a boat load.

                Every serious fishery these days has net limits and anglers are always trying to get as close to the limit as possible so as not to use a silly amount of nets.

                I would buy one.
