It was crap mate. I drew peg 12 and never had a bite, so thats 10 hours on there for no bites whatsoever. The river looked sock on yesterday too, Coloured, decent flow, weather overcast but it was still crap. General consensus was the cold water coming in from the heavy overnight rain.
I think it was won by Dave Bontoft at peg 14 with a big tench and a few perch, all on his favourite chop worm on the pole. He lost a bream on the feeder early on but switched to pole for the rest of the match!
There were some more perch caught in the pegs below Dave but I dont yet know the full result. Will post tomorrow night the full result.
