        Fish week 197 (season 22,737) Returns 64 (5,889) Rod average 3.07 (3.86)
Grafham Water has continued to fish well for both bank and boat anglers with a large proportion of the fish taken weighing over 3lb. Boat anglers have had excellent sport fishing with the north shore producing the best catch rates. The Stumps, Church Bay, Pylon Point and G Buoy have all produced good catches fishing on di3 and Di5 lines with minkies, blobs, boobies and crunchers. Gaynes Cove and Mander Car Park frontage have also been successful areas for the boat anglers with floating lines with minkies being the most effective.

Bank anglers have again enjoyed consistent sport with floating lines with shrimp patterns and Gold Ribbed Hares Ear giving the best catch rates. Plummer Park, the Seat, Pylon Point and the G Bank area have also fished well for the bank anglers by using the same method as on the Dam.

The biggest Rainbow of the week was caught by 13 year old angler Felix Whelan from Kettering Felix caught a fin perfect over wintered Rainbow of 6lb 2oz from the Harbour on a minkie.

Best Rainbow 6lb 2oz taken by Felix Whelan of Kettering.

        Pitsford Water
The highlight of the week at Pitsford Water was the Fur and Feather on 10 November. This annual boat match was very well supported with 48 anglers competing for some great seasonal prizes. 84 fish were caught for a rod average of 1.75. The best fish was a Rainbow of 4lb 6oz caught by Kevin Appleton. The best boat was Clive Morgan and Garry Morris with the pair netting 15 fish for 28lb 7oz. Second place were Tim Joyce and Mr Stevenson with 10 fish for 17lb 11oz. Pat Flynn and Pete Webb took third place with 8 fish for 15lb 1oz. With prizes awarded down to 6th place, a sweep and a fantastic hog roast washed down with a pint it was an excellent way to mark the final boat match of the season.

Generally, fishing has been steady this week. The fish are lying deep and are reluctant to feed or chase. The best methods are to back drift in boats with lure patterns fished slow and deep. Bank anglers are finding it is best to fish around the receding weed beds where there is still a lot of food. Snail, corixa and fry patterns will work.

Best Rainbow 4lb 6oz taken by Kevin Appleton.

        Best methods See report.

Best boat areas Causeway, Brixworth Bay, Pines.
