it’s 9’6″ was dark green with red whippings and ernie Stamford transfer above the reel fitting, over the years the green glass has turned a light grey colour, the eyes are lined but not fujis.i bought this in 1972 for £4,i was 16 and only earnt a tenner a week(and had to give me mum £4 rent)I do have a gerrys of Wimbledon swing tip rod that I can use but its stiffer and nowhere near as good(from the same era black glass,9’6″)in the summer when the bream give wrap round bites a quiver will do, but this time of year the swing tip comes into its own,

The reason I ask is that I have 2 or 3 of them all different. If you PM me your email address I will send you a picture, feel sure I have a green one, sounds familiar. Im from Sheffield originally and went in Ernest’s shop on a weekly basis. I even have one of the light brown coloured glass ones with brass ferrules and a separate butt. Send me a PM

Hope you got sorted with your replacement. If not I have 4 Stamford rods, all with lashed on tips, two with spigot joints, two with metal joints. PM me if youre interested.
