Angel of the North Lake, December 10th

Interesting week high winds, rain, hail, snow, and frost and Bassetts frozen now defrosted
So to get 55lb 9oz on Sunday is a good weight
Maggots at present doing very well, pick your peg carefully as the fish are sheltering away from cold winds and shoaled up tight, but still feeding even getting some big roach, ide and even large bream coming up to take of the surface with the odd carp.
