As titled I’m looking for a rod case that will take 2 poles plus loads of spares so 8 tubes and a built in ready rod case for 3 ready made rods, will the Map parabolic accommodate this lot and can anyone reccomend anything else Preston etc ? Cheers Ant

Mosella had the map but prefer the mosella

i use the mosella – however, recently i bought a jvc carper roll-up holdall off a mate for storage.
To be honest, you can easily fit 3 ready rods plus the older short section pole in tubes into it.
Downsize is obviously this length limit and the fact that the zip doesdoesn’t go around the bottom.
However, its worth having a look at carper gear for match-fishing purposes if you don’t mind being seen with ‘green’ or even the dreaded camou instead of black/grey or blue with a brand logo.

These things are getting bigger all the time, I use the mosella kompact and to be honest it’s been good, had it around 5 years now. Hardest thing is getting it in the van
You need to consider that whatever you buy 😮

Maver Platinum, Takes Pole, top kits, brolley etc and 2 separate rod pods, each one capable of taking 2 rods. Zips apart if you only want to take pole or rods. Like Matchcarp said, its a large piece of kit when zipped together. Worth a look

Another vote for Mosella, K4 is deceptively big and I get 3 made up rods in and a pole + 2 exts + 2 tubes of top kits + bolly and landing net poles etc in it.

The K8 is absolutely huge……..gotta consider packing the car!
