A wet week but the anglers who visited enjoyed good sport on most days. The cloudy conditions kept fish feeding on the surface much of the day taking damsels and pond olives.
The water level is high but clarity still good.
Dries such as s14 big black, claret bits and shipmans have caught well during the evening rise when fish are taking small emerging buzzers and sedges.
Best methods during the day are washing line with hopper or damsel booby or weighted lure on the point and hares ear and cruncher on the dropper.
