Fishing has much improved over the last week, with the water clear and the weather cooler.

Anglers reported many fish having been seen with the boats doing better.

Nick Wright (photo attached) from Northampton had his limit of 2 1/2lb ers.

Matt Skinner and Nigel Cheatham, both from Oundle, had a beautiful brown weighing in at just over 3lbs, which was safely put back to the water.

Regular, Phil Willmot from Northampton, also enjoyed his day catching various size fish.

Best Areas: Willow Bay to Addington Road.

Best Flies: Diawl back, Daddy Long legs & Cruncher.
