A fantastic opening weekend with reasonable weather and a rod average of over 8.
Bank anglers did better than boat anglers with most fish being caught within 15 yards of the bank.
Fish are being taken from all areas and are in fantastic condition. Quite a few overwintered fish were caught including a superb 9lb 11oz rainbow.
Many anglers used small lures and caught well if they used a slow retreive.
Buzzers, hares ear and small damsels also scored.
