The largest fish of the week at Ringstead Grange was a beautiful specimen weighing in at 11lb, caught by Paul Shepherd of Bedford.

Dave Strudwick of Burton Latimer caught a nice 5 pounder (released) and 12 others at 2 1/2lb a piece.

Paul Head of Kettering, had a 4 1/2lb fish.

Andy Berowowsky of Northampton, 9 fish caught, all around 2 1/2lb and 5 others released.

Phil Robinson of Raunds, had a great day catching a brace of fish weighing 4 1/2lbs each.

Nigel Cheatham of Oundle had a good catch of 8 fish all released OK.

The variations and changeable conditions in the weather, windy and cold to the extreme warmer days gave some challenging fishing days.

Best Flies:

Bloodworm, Gold & White Dancer, Buzzers – Black (white cheeks), Black (Red cheeks), Pheasant Tail and Montana.

Best Areas:

Willow Bay, Addington Road and Sand bank.
