Ringstead bank fishing is better than the boats this last week.

Bill Callaway (Bedford) caught 4, 3 of them being 4lbs a piece and one at 3lbs.

Dave Boden (Rushden) caught 4 for 10 3/4lbs, plus 13 released.

Paul Shepherd (Bedford) caught 5 for 11lbs, plus 2 released.

Bob Symes caught 3 for 7lbs.

George Foster, 13 year old grandson of Rosemary Foster (Ringstead) caught 9 and all released.

Best Flies:

Blue Flash Damsel, Pink Blob, Minky and Hot Headed Damsel.

Best Areas:

Willow Bay, Lodge Front and Addington Road.

The tag fish is still on the loose and there is a nice cash prize to win.
