Water clarity at Elinor is superb and the fish are in great condition. As well as hard fighting stock rainbows there are some lovely grown on brown trout being caught.
The lower water temperature has seen bank anglers doing as well as boat anglers on most days.
A variety of methods are working:
Floater/slow intermediate with mini lure on the point and nymphs on droppers.
Washing line with a damsel booby and small buzzers/diawl bach/cruncher on droppers.
        Indicator with buzzers.
On calmer days and evenings dries such as black hopper or black/brown bob’s bits.
Most fish are being taken in the top two foot.

Now the clocks have changed, afternoon tickets are available from Midday.
