Craig drew peg 14 on the field side slightly sheltered from the wind and able to present a static bait, fishing the pole with pellet and maggot he landed 16 carp his best going 8lb in his match winning weight of 73lb. In contrast 2nd placed Andy fished the pole and pellet short on the windy side at peg 39, landing just 7 carp for 51lb 14oz.

Despite the horrible windy and rainy conditions the lake fished well, coming out on top Ken fished a small maggot feeder for two small carp and ide – 1lb from peg 27 putting 35lb 4oz on the scales.
