77 anglers caught 324 fish of which 273 were returned.

Rainbow 9lb 4oz Dave McEwan, Sandy, hares ear
Brown 5lb 8oz John Wildman, Peterborough, black hopper booby
Brown 5lb 2oz Mr Steels, Peterborough, boat

        Best Areas
Bank – brookside, dam, east arm
        Boat – dam, east arm

        Best Patterns
small damsel, grhe, small black buzzer, white/green lure, black/green lure, pink apps.

An excellent rod average for the week with some good bags caught by bank anglers from the brookside or dam.
Despite all the rain the water remains clear. On calmer days there are still fish rising. Spooned fish have been feeding on snails, corixa and small buzzers.

The first weekend of pike fishing saw 3 boats go out on Saturday. It was too windy to allow boats out on Sunday.
Derek Cross from Welwyn Garden City had a superb day catching fish of 16, 18, 19 and 23lb.
There was also another 20lb+ fish caught.

Elinor will be holding some more pike fishing weekends:
        December 5th & 6th
        December 12th & 13th
        Boat fishing only.
Lures or sea deadbaits only may be used.
        Single anglers boat £25.00
Two anglers in a boat £40.00
        Fishing is 7.30am – 4.30pm

Elinor is open for boat and bank fishing until December 31st and the 2016 season will start on February 13th.
Season ticket holders only can bank fish during January.

The perfect Christmas gift is a fishing ticket voucher.
