Drawn on the shallowist peg on the lake peg 19 and also the most sheltered from the wind, Nigel fished the bomb and pellet cast round the bay for 6 carp and a change to the pole and pellet on two lines at 13m brought him 18 more – 7lb and putting a summer weight of 85lb 20z on the scales, in second place Andy fished a small scoop feeder cast to the island filled with micro’s and a hair rigged pellet landing 16 carp – 6lb for a total of 60lb 10oz

Conditions were far from perfect with gale force winds and rain blowing straight down the lake, It was Steve Richards at the top of the list, drawn on flyer peg 27 he fished a small maggot feeder cast to the weed beds land 6 carp – 4lb and 16lb of Ide for his winning total of 37lb 11oz, in second place Craig fished the pole and maggot on the top 2 + 2 for a mixed net of Skimmers, Ide and roach.
