Ringstead Grange reports a mixed week owing to the weather, fish are being caught all over the lake with many anglers catching their limits.

The best catches were :

Mike Willowby (Milton Keynes) 3 at 3lb a piece, plus 7 released.

Nick Wright (Northampton) had his limit of various weights.

J Barston (Peterborough) on an evening ticket 1 at 3lbs, plus a brace at 2 1/2 a piece.

Alan Holmes (Raunds) 1 at 4lb, plus 4 at 2 1/2lb, also a lovely brownie at 2 1/2lb.

Lee Skevington (Ringstead) 1 at 3lb, plus 7 others.

The lake in general is fishing really well.

Best Areas for boats:

The Deeps and Mill Corner.

Best Areas:

Caravan Corner and Sandbanks.

Best Flies:

Taequla – orange & yellow Blob, Buzzers, Damsels – blue flash.

Stocking took place a few days ago and the Brownies are putting up a good fight.

Weed cutting and lifting is still on going.

Tag fish still to be caught.
