Heavy frost overnight and Wednesdays & Thursdays rains has not helped fishing. Interestingly as a mater of environmental interest the quantity and quality of rain knocked DO and Water quality test readings, which says Acid Rain and poor quality of rain came down, again not helping the fish or fishing or aquaculture.

Rest DNW
Keith fished corn on the bomb down the channel between the two islands on a 18 hook, with 5lb maxima 4lb silk shock hook length, landed a 18lb 13oz common carp and several 2lbs.
Colin fished bomb 18 hook, double maggot tight to the island and produced a 17lb common carp.
Alan used block end feeder-nisa rocket small, to get 5 fish, changed to straight lead half oz to get further 3 fish, both rigs were made up of kamasan 911 hook size 18 0.13 power line hook length.
Bassetts mixed coarse
Still producing good catches Graham Welsh produced an excellent 6lb koi (see Photo of Graham Welsh) and Rudd, Roach, Carp including Crucians, & Ide coming out.
Lookout mixed coarse
Producing carp in good quantity, and sizes to 11lb 3oz, Ide and Rudd, Roach, Perch, plus another Green Tench at 3lb coming out.
Bowes carp lake
Big fish week with double figures coming out including a stunning 18lb 13oz common on a bomb and 18hook in the match, also a 17lb common in the match.
Best baits on hook, maggot, sweetcorn, worm, caster and angel expanders also doing well.
Junior Club this week is workshop covering casting, making floats and also watercraft.
