Fishing from peg 81 Andy Cordall just edged the win on this Moat open. He caught mainly carp with a few skimmers on pole and pellet at 13m to weigh 66lb. He also won the Golden peg prize.

2 L Sears, Daiwa Hallcroft, 61-12-0;  peg 31 On the opposite side of Moat Luke Sears caught 4 carp early on to bomb and corn then switched to pole and pellet at 14m for more carp and some good skimmers.

3 J Masson, Maver BCUK, 51-11-0; peg 11
Jamie Masson weighed 51-11-0 for third spot.

1 M Payling, Bankside, 72-9-0; peg island 2 Mark Payling fished at 12m alongside the reeds with pellet to catch small carp and silvers for 72-9-0 and a comfortable win.

2 I Littlewood, Triana North, 46-4-0; peg outer 68 Ian Littlewood, drawn on the outer, also fished pole and pellet to take carp to 5lb and a few skimmers for 46-6-0.

3 A Newbury, Leegem, 43-10-0; peg outer 104 Andy Newbury was third with 43-10-0.

Hard going on Bridge with cold rain and winds. Geoff Bennett had carp and skimmers fishing pole and pellet from peg 6 for 27-10-0.

2 R Teigh, Handsworth, 21-8-0; peg 45
Rich Teigh fished similarly from peg 45 also for a mixed bag weighing 21-8-0.

3 K Walters, Hallcroft, 19-12-0; peg 52
Keith Walters caught mostly carp for 19-12-0 and third place.
