Andy Kinder recorded his top weight at Hallcroft to win this Saturday’s open falling just one carp short of the 200lbs mark. Andy fished shallow on the pole at 13m using cubed luncheon meat on the hook as well as loose feeding it, to catch mainly carp in his magnificent winning net.

However, those who did turn up were treated to another good days fishing, and avoided an embarrassing football match. Neil Vernon landed all carp in his winning net using a pellet waggler fished shallow to the middle of Moat.
