The popular Drennan Knockout Cup has an increased prize fund next year thanks to the generous backing of leading tackle manufacturer Drennan.
The Oxford based company has been delighted with how well the 2009 competition, which is exclusively organised by Match Fishing magazine, has gone and the prize fund has now been increased to a whopping £8,500. Company owner Peter Drennan said: “We are delighted to be associated with this competition as it’s a true test of all round skills. The team at Match Fishing did a superb job organising the 2009 event and I’m certain the 2010 competition will be even more keenly contested.â€
