  Hi folks. I’ve got an Abu Conolon pole in very good condition plus lots of spare sections and top kits. It’s a really good all round pole which is equally at home catching roach and match size carp and can be fished at 16m. I wouldn’t recommend it for dragging zoo creatures out of snags, but having said that I’ve never broken a section. This model was used and endorsed by Giles Cochrane before he went to MAP. If anyone is interested just reply and we can sort something out. Cheers.

  Sorry for the delay in replying – I’ve been very busy with work. The pole cost just over £900 new and is still in good condition so I’m looking for £300. Anything less then that and I might as well keep it. It’s a really good bit of kit but I just get very few chances to use it nowadays. They were made by the same company who made Maver poles at the time.
