Any point fishing Selsey tonight?

I feel it may already be too late to catch a decent smutt this year, but i have a chance of getting out of work early today. Tide and times look OK but are there any smoothies still around? And is the weed making it unfishable at the moment? Any advice gratefully welcomed.

Didn’t manage to get away but off to Brighton Marina this friday eve to wet a line.

I wouldn’t fancy lugging that lot onto the beach with me!
