        Would the rings on a beachcasting rod be spaced differently for use with a fixed spool or a multiplier?

        Reason, i have 3 rods, same make same model but the rings are spaced differently

          Yep, less rings on a fixed spool rod, probably larger as well.

          Part of it is to do with reeling in, with a multiplier rod when you reel in the rings are on top and you need to keep the line off the blank so it uses more rings.
