Probably the Milo Brooklyn flat rollers. I have the new Maver Competition large flat roller witht he 2 rollers on the bottom, double extending legs so it goes as high as most V rollers but the stability of a flat roller – and only £50.

I get on without problems with preston rollers, have a super v and the normal flat and both are excellent.

Have had daiwas and think the legs, when extended, are a bit too thin to be really stable but the roller arrangement is better than most IMO.

If money no object though, the Milo’s have to be worth a look. But as you can get a pair of preston flats for 90, about the price of a milo give or take, I know where my vote goes.

I recently purchased a preston xl flatbed roller . It’s a huge roller and very stable also comes in it’s own carry bag which is handy aswell

The Maver v roller is brilliant, the legs go nearly flat for if its windy

Since buying a preston pro v never had a problem including using it in windy weather – having said that, my other roller is the original boss double roller and thats been excellent, ableit a bit on small side. Saw the new Maver flat roller at a recent match and was also quite impressed.

The preston flat pro rollers are very wide and stable but there are twin rollers fitted .The ends of these rollers have plastic ends which come loose and also the pole rolls over the plastic caps that sit in the centre and sounds like a train coming…Bad design in my opinion and £54 each

Made me mind up on Preston pro flat roller but which one the normal 500mm size or the XL 700mm. Not much difference in price but do you think I need the extra size and height with the downside of lumping an even bigger roller around??

Another vote for the rocking roller
