  does anybody use betain in there bait.is it a gimmik or does it work.we have tons of it at work,so iam going to put it into my paste and give it a go.what amounts do you use.~think ~think ~think

  It definitely works. I’ve used hemp with it in and hemp without on the same venue and the difference was amazing.

  Theoretically an appetite stimulant. I have used it in the past but like ALL other additives that I have used, I cannot say that I have noticed an increase in catch rate. I have noticed a drop in the cash levels though ~think ~think

  i use it on me pellets. dont no if it makes a differance as i’ve always used it. I’ts a confidance thing.I Don’t do bad either

  I used to fish at Stub Pond, feeding hemp and meat when no additives were allowed and I never used to do any good.
  
  However, when the rule was dropped I tried dissolving betaine in water and leaving my hemp soaking in it overnight. The difference was amazing and from then on (with the help of some decent draws) I was rarely out of the frame on club matches there.
  
  I also don’t think that it is a coincidence that my most successful paste additive also contains Betaine.

  Possibly, it depends what baits I am using.
  
  I expect it has been widely used on venues where no additives are allowed as it is undetectable in baits. If you know where I mean !

  Its already an additive of pellets so some research somewhere must have found it beneficial
