Pike fishermen braved the cold weather this last weekend, with the largest pike weighing in at 20 lbs. This was landed by Sam Appes from Wolverhampton – personal best.
Kevin Jordan travelled from Chepstow and his largest pike was a 10 pounder.
Many large pike have been seen, so come and try your luck.
Boxing Day proved to be a hit with trout anglers (bank only).
A nice bunch of anglers turned up with trout being caught at 2 1/2 lbs including Nick Wright from Northampton, Vincent Ryan, Barry Hall, Ellis Fox and Jonny Jarman.
Trout fishing continues every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through to 22nd February 15.
Pike fishing continues from boats or bank every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through to 22nd February 15.
Opening Day for Ringstead is 28th February 2015.
