cool water method feeder

hi all now thats its warmed up slightly and a few venues are responding to the method any pointers on a cool water approach especially what to go around the feeder e.g GB or pellets and which mixes and hook baits etc and how long would you leave it in before a recast thxz

Do you take water temps? The waters I fish have not changed/warmed up much!

lindholme and woodlands are now responding to the method or did they respond to it in the winter when it was baltic?
