What’s the best way to rig this pole up with red hydro for carp 8-20lb in snaggy conditions, should I use it with the top section removed and the elastic in just the second or through the 3rd section aswell.

with fish that size amongst snags, you really don’t want red hydro, as it will stretch too much and you won’t get control quick enough. For that sized fish in snags, you’ll want some proper knicker elastic!

Tried to thread knicker elastic through the top 2 but its 2 thick, back to red hydro then anyone else know whats best.

Just put a short length of no18 solid in.

far cheaper and far better…and far thinner than red hydro
