As dynamite have stopped selling the tins of ready cubed garlic meat does anyone have any good info on a garlic oil or something similar that you could put on normal luncheon meat to flavour it up.
        cheers

I have been using chicken luncheon meat for about 18months now,its actually Halal meat in same size tins as spam etc,it just fall out the tin absolutely no jelly on it what so ever & the consitency is spot on,it seems to always spring back into shape as in spongy but firmish & the colour seems to stay & not go pale + it is a dream to put through the cutter,oh nearly forgot the fish love it!.

Bremes, Where do you get this chicken luncheon meat from?
Is it available from most supermarkets or do you have to find a specialist supplier?

Bremes I know you have mentioned it before and your right its alot leaner than pork luncheon meat your pole doesnt get as greasy and it glides through the cutter. It must be better for water quality too being considerably lower in fat !!

The tins i have got left, down to around 25,are produced by “DAK”,i got them from B&M bargain stores for 89p a tin 340gm,but it is really hit n miss when they are instore,i check weekly at least.I did try a couple of asian/halal specialist stores but the chicken luncheon meat tins were about £2.75 each!!.

The chicken tins are exactly the same as the pork ones above.
