127 anglers caught 295 fish of which 233 were returned.

Best Fish
5lb 5oz Alan Rennocks, Kettering, red apps, boat
4lb 4oz Pete Welch, Boston, red cruncher, boat
4lb 2oz Roly Stanford, Finedon, bloodworm, boat

Best Areas
Bank – east arm, gravel bar, dam (in a north wind)
Boat – pylon point, east arm, down middle

Best Patterns
Damsel nymph, dry damsel, daddy, red diawl/cruncher, red apps, black/green or white/green lure, yellow blob, tequila blob/fab.

A warm week where the fishing was hard especially from the bank. Bank anglers did well if they managed one or two fish. Boat anglers who fished deeper down the middle continued to catch. On Sunday when most people were struggling, Steve Lane used a white/green lure anchored off pylon point to take 13 fish with most coming on the hang, 5-6 foot down.
Today, Tuesday, it is much cooler and three anglers have had more than 5 fish each by lunchtime.
If you are planning on coming bank fishing try not to pick a hot sunny day.
