Best areas
Most areas producing fish
Best Patters
black or black/green lures, white/green lures, black diawl, cruncher, black buzzer, olive buzzer, tequila or candy fab/blob.
At last there are some decent hatches of black or olive buzzers now the cold wind has dropped.
On frosty mornings the fishing has generally improved in the afternoon.
Best method from the bank has been a fab on the point with buzzers or diawl bach on the dropper.
Boat anglers are catching on straight lined buzzers as well as washing line. Intermediate line with black/green or white/green lures continues to work.
Water temperature is a cool 8C so there are only a few fish surface feeding. However the evening rises should start before the end of the month.
Some boats are still available for the Scierra pairs heat on Sunday May 16th.
