An excellent week for both bank and boat anglers with the water clear again and some huge buzzer hatches.
Size 12 buzzers with red or white cheeks either straight lined or under a bung is the best method although plenty of fish are also coming to small unweighted damsels, crunchers and diawl bachs.
Most areas are producing fish although top quality specimens are being taken from the coarse bank and west arm.
A few fish are rising on calmer days and evenings.

The latest edition of Trout Fisherman magazine (issue 509) has a centre page feature on Elinor and includes a dvd with Iain Barr and Gareth Jones bank fishing here.
