        Best areas
Most areas producing fish depending on wind direction

        Best Patters
black or black/green lures, cormorant, cruncher, damsel, grhe, black buzzer, dark olive buzzer, tequila or candy fab/blob

A huge variation in weather last week and therefore a mixture of flies worked depending on conditions. Tuesday and Wednesday were warm and there was a decent buzzer hatch. Since then it’s been constant cold N or NE winds so mini lures and larger nymphs fished 2-4 feet down has worked best. Mornings have generally been slow with catches picking up during the afternoon and early evening especially if the wind drops.
A couple of milder days will soon get the buzzer fishing in full swing again.
Although not clear the water visibility is over 12 inches now and continues to improve.
Another good selection of big fish last week with the majority returned. Elinor hasn’t stocked any fish above 7lb 8oz this year so all fish above this weight are overwintered.
