A difficult week with the water warming up and the fish feeding sporadically.
On most days there has been some surface activity to the massive damsel hatch although boat anglers have had more success fishing deep and slow with some larger fish being caught.
Generally it has been best to fish at the top of the wind where the water clarity is good with any algae being blown to the windward bank.
Fishing will probably continue to be challenging until we get a cooler spell.
